Inktober is an annual illustration challenge undertaken by artists all over the world. Every day in the month of October, artists are given a prompt word as the theme for their illustrations. 2019 was the second year I attempted inktober, and the first year I managed to complete it! Some images were more successful than others, but it was a great way to experiment with styles and textures!
Shown below are 27 of the 31 total images. the other 4 were pretty crap honestly!
These took on average 2 hours each. It was a grueling month, but a rewarding one. All were drawn in a single a5 sketchbook using a combination of pencil, pens, a pentel brush pen, and prisma markers.
